Position Description

Overview
The Strategy and Operations Manager reports to the SVP Value Based Care Operations with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE requirements. They should embody CINQCARE’s core values, including, Trusted, Empathetic, Committed, Humble, Creative and Community-Minded. At CINQCARE, we don’t have patients or customers – we have Family Members.

The Strategy and Operations Manager will play an integral role in operationalizing CINQCARE’s business and products in the Illinois market. The Strategy and Operations Manager will help to manage the day-to-day operations of our market team, establishing an environment in which our market can flourish. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation with exceptional organizational and project management skills and the ability to work within a matrixed environment. Ultimately, the Strategy and Operations Manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture market success from inception to completion.
Job Responsibilities
The Strategy and Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities between multiple projects with or without directly managing them Formulating, organizing, and monitoring inter-connected projects.
  • Deciding on suitable strategies and objectives and coordinating cross-project activities
  • Manage operations, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.
  • Keeps management informed by preparing reports, preparing presentations, interpreting information, and making recommendations.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for market leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintains work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments and participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
  • Structure and execute quantitative analysis to generate insights supporting business needs/recommendations.
  • Use primary and secondary source research to develop insights that support business needs/recommendations.
  • Create clean, visually appealing, client deliverables using PowerPoint/Google Slides etc. that synthesize quantitative/qualitative analysis and outline key takeaways and recommendations for client deliverables.
  • Own and improve existing key components of the business model strategy at the market level.
  • Pilot new market-level initiatives and distill learnings and applying best practices towards national operations.
General Duties
The Strategy and Operations Manager will have the following duties:
  • Leadership: The Strategy and Operations Manager will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Strategy: The Strategy and Operations Manager will establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE Family Members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE. business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Strategy and Operations Manager will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the Company.
  • Collaboration: The Strategy and Operations Manager will ensure that capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.
  • Knowledge: The Strategy and Operations Manager will provide subject matter expertise in the solutions, including determining and recommended approaches, solution deployment and performance evaluation.
  • Culture: The Strategy and Operations Manager is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the team and as part of the larger Company.
Qualifications
The Strategy and Operations Manager should have the following qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a record of strong academic achievement. Master’s preferred.
  • Experience: Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in business, finance, health care strategy, operations. Experience with deep, hands-on process improvement.
  • Entrepreneurial: CINQCARE seeks to fix gaps that have persisted for generations in the delivery of care to Black and Brown populations. This position is accountable for ensuring CINQCARE is positioned to innovatively deliver on its promise.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, investors, partners, and other stakeholders. Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Ability to think quickly and solve problems in the moment. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents.

Location: Illinois

Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000
