Position Description

Overview

The Director of Compliance Health Home, with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE’s requirements. Primary Responsibilities

The Director of Compliance- Health Home will have the following responsibilities:

  • The Director will make sure internal practices and programs comply with legal and regulatory criteria, including HIPAA, JCAHO, and other applicable healthcare policies.

  • Accurately measure organizational compliance through internal audits and investigations. Based on the results, suggest efficient strategies for implementing the highest quality industry standards in CINQCARE’s practices.

  • Serve as a compliance confidant to employees and institute secure communication channels for reporting compliance breaches and violations.

  • Create a robust framework that outlines the necessary steps to address regulatory breaches.

  • Develop and implement company-wide practices and programs to ensure the company’s procedures comply with the set standards.

  • Institute an exemplary standard of conduct that outlines appropriate behaviors and practices.

  • Prepare and oversee the execution of employee training programs and materials to make sure all staff levels are briefed on compliance guidelines.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of patients’ medical records and personal information by proposing clear guidelines on the proper storing and protection of data.

  • Create effective communication lines for employees to enable them to seek compliance advice and report related issues, concerns, and breaches with impunity.

  • Investigate compliance concerns and misconduct reports to verify whether regulatory violations took place.

  • Institute a special framework that stipulates corrective action plans in case of breaches and enables employees to report abuses without fear of retaliation.

  • Oversee compliance audits and investigations to identify risk areas and vulnerabilities that may lead to noncompliance.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

General Duties

The Director of Compliance- Health Home will have the following duties:

  • Leadership: The Director of Compliance- Health Home will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value in the clinical practice, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Strategy: The Director of Compliance- Health Home will establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE Family Members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE. business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Director of Compliance- Health Home will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive the profitability of the Company.
  • Collaboration: The Director of Compliance- Health Home will ensure that our clinical capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.

  • Knowledge: The Director of Compliance- Health Home will provide subject matter expertise in Network solutions, including determining and recommended approaches for highest quality medical care, solution deployment and performance evaluation.

  • Culture: The Director of Compliance- Health Home is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the clinical team and as part of the larger Company.

Qualifications

The Director of Compliance- Health Home should have the following qualifications:

  • Required Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field. Master’s Preferred.
    • Certified HIPAA Compliance Professional (CHCP) Certification.

  • Required Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in a supervisory healthcare compliance role.
  • Exhaustive knowledge of HIPAA, federal, state, and local laws, and other applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels.
  • Strong managerial and supervisory skills

The Director of Compliance- Health Home will possess the ability to work independently and initiate change within their responsibilities.

Location: New York State

Compensation: $65k to $85k
