Position Description

Overview
The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. reports to the SVP of Provider Relations and Contracting and works very closely with the local IL Market President and leadership team. This position with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE requirements. The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr.is a business development position designed to cultivate and grow relationships with select contracted providers. This position serves as a liaison between CINQCARE IL and key providers and is responsible for the accomplishment of both health care and business objectives as established for each key account.

This position will coordinate interaction between CINQCARE and key practices, health centers, IPAs and FQHCs in the IL market. Interaction will include, but not be limited to, practice transformation, care management, quality improvement, membership growth (including Health Home penetration), system integration, SDOH referrals, contract compliance and budget performance. Additionally, this position will be responsible for deep knowledge of competitor programs; be they payor’s, other provider organizations or other third parties, to assure that CINQCARE remains competitive with its offerings and support.

The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will monitor progress through the establishment of a Joint Operating Committee (JOC) that will be convened periodically with each provider account, but no less than quarterly to review progress against key objectives. The JOC will be comprised of clinical and administrative leaders from both the provider’s practice and CINQCARE. To facilitate discussion and evaluation of progress at the JOC this position will be responsible for obtaining and distributing reports that capture performance against key objectives.

The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. is responsible for the development and maintenance of account project plans and updates to support our ability to track progress. It is expected that this leader will advise responsible parties in both organizations when corrective action is called for and will request strategies and actions to address shortfalls in provider performance.


Job Responsibilities
The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will have the following responsibilities:

  • Leverage relationship management skills to grow/contract additional IL providers into the CINQCARE ACO REACH and IPA networks in accord with established budget targets.
  • Develop mutually acceptable set of goals and objectives for each key account by product line offering (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare, ACO REACH, etc).
  • Plan, execute and manage account plans and projects through a collaborative effort with both CINQCARE and key providers.
  • Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address key account concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manage Joint Operating Committee Meetings.
  • Assure that CINQCARE’s internal resources and priorities are aligned with key account objectives and advise leadership where there is opportunity for improvement.
  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate competitor’s practice and market status.
  • Develop plans to displace competition.
  • Maintain complete organizational knowledge and product and services familiarity.
  • Add value by conveying useful industry, government and practice innovation trends and initiatives.
  • Maintain and update key account contact records.
  • Assure team selling efforts are in place and coordinated for Health Home and payer membership growth.
  • Assure Key Account satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed individual key account P+L objectives.
General Duties
The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will have the following duties:
  • Leadership: The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Strategy: The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE Family Members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE. business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the Company.
  • Collaboration: The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will ensure that capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.
  • Knowledge: The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. will provide subject matter expertise in the account management solutions, including determining and recommended approaches for provider engagement, relationship management, information sharing, education, solution deployment and performance evaluation.
  • Culture: The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the Provider Network team and as part of the larger Company.
Qualifications
The Provider Engagement Account Manager Sr. should have the following qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent management related degree with a record of strong academic achievement;
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in managed care or other health care related relationship management position(s). Appreciation for details with ability to read and understand provider contracts;
  • Entrepreneurial: CINQCARE seeks to fix gaps that have persisted for generations in the delivery of care to Black and Brown populations. This position is accountable for ensuring CINQCARE is positioned to innovatively deliver on its promise.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, investors, partners, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents; and,
  • Culture: Good judgement, impeccable ethics, and a strong team player; desire to succeed and grow in a fast-paced, demanding, and entrepreneurial Company.


Location: The position is based in Illinois.
Compensation: $110K - $125K
