Position Description

Overview

The Driver reports to the Director of Transportation and Member Services with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE requirements. They should embody CINQCARE’s core values, including, Trusted, Empathetic, Committed, Humble, Creative and Community-Minded. At CINQCARE, we don’t have patients or customers – we have Family Members.

Job Responsibilities

The Driver will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide transportation services to our members using our personal fleet of vehicles.
• The driver will transport the members to and from medical destinations, in a safe and comfortable manner.
• Provides punctual, courteous service for all members.
• Assist with daily maintenance of all vehicles based on vehicle-maintained logs.
• Regularly update time estimations to ensure smooth daily transportation operations.
• Document mileage and destinations via company provided cell phone.
• Be able to be flexible and adjust to change well.

• Able to help with members’ needs and facility needs and regulations.

• Show the ability to communicate in a clear, courteous, and concise manner.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The Driver should have the following qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience:
• Clean New York State Driver's License- Class E preferred.

• 1-Year or more patient-shuttle type driving experience a plus.
• Taxi experience required.
• Demonstrate a clean driving abstract.
• No accidents, violations or DWI's within the past 7-years
• Working knowledge of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Dual diagnosis patients, preferred.
• Must be dependable.
• Team player
• Persistent and positive attitude
• High Attention to detail.
• Creative problem solver.
• Personable, outgoing, and courteous personality.

Requirement:

• Clean driving record.
• A valid NYS driver’s license
• A copy of your clean driving abstract (must bring for your interview with hiring manager.
• Flexibility:
  • Monday- Friday- with occasionally weekends
  • 8:30am-5:30pm- with occasionally OT.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Compensation: $16 hrly.
